91st guild leaders underwent training on HIV/AIDs prevention and treatment on Thursday, July 10th, 2025 during an HIV awareness campaign held at the School of Pharmacy auditorium.


The campaign was organised by the 91st Ministry of Health in conjuction with the office of the Guild president H.E Ssentamu Churchill James.

Speaking at the event, Josephat Byamugisha the director University Hospital urged students to use University health facilities, stressing the fact that the services are free to all students.


The Guild President encouraged student leaders to prioritise their health and preach the message of HIV prevention among fellow students.

The leaders were also trained on how to use the HIV self testing kits.
