The 91st guild government, led by H.E. Ssentamu Churchill James, made a courtesy call to the Buganda Kingdom on August 15th, 2025, accompanied by leaders from Nkobazambogo Makerere University Chapter.

According to Ssentamu, the visit was intended to discuss the involvement of Makerere University in the Kingdom's projects.

Speaking to the delegation, the Kingdom's premier, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga urged students from Buganda to use their numbers to achieve their goals by voting for leaders who understand their needs. He noted that 'one who doesn't understand you can't fight for you'.

Owek. Mayiga further urged students to be disciplined, stay in school, and guard themselves against HIV/AIDS.

"Discipline is the master key. In all that we do, if you are not disciplined, you are going to be an underachiever," he noted.

Among the delegation was Guild President emeritus Lubega Vincent Nsamba, former Nkobazanogo president Ssemujju Brian, and his successor Ssaku Peter Simon.
